
Konstantinos Menelaou
Konstantinos Menelaou is a film artist and curator based in Athens, Greece. His first feature film “He Loves Me” has been distributed worldwide by Salzgeber&Co, TLA and Optimale. His film work has been selected by film festivals around the world, such as International documentary festival of Thessaloniki, London Flare, Qfest, Toronto Queer film festival, Queer Lisboa, Outview, MIXNYC. Menelaou has worked as a researcher for White Cube gallery in London, creative producer for Asvof film festival at Centre Pompidou in Paris and art curator for Fringe! Film and Arts Festival in London before he launched The Queer Archive, an arts platform that showcases the work of queer artists and filmmakers, as well as producing films, events and art exhibitions. In 2020 he joined forces with Onassis Cultural Centre and together they produced The Queer Archive festival, an annual celebration of queer arts based in Athens. In 2021 Menelaou introduced The Queer Archive Artshop - an online art gallery celebrating queer creativity and culture. He has a BA in Media Art from University of Westmister and an MA in Fine Arts from Central Saint Martin’ s University of the Arts.
