Kinder Limo (they/them) is a queer Ukrainian artist whose work spans performance, music production, dance and movement research, as well as collabstraction art (their own term for a mix of abstract art and collage). Their artistic practice is based on research into human existence in the context of body, society and politics, focussing on constructs such as gender and sexuality. They also investigate mental health and Ukrainian history and culture in a postcolonial context. Kinder Limo’s art aims to transform oppressive environments into productive and balanced practices and experiences, which are unique for each human being.
